Writing this book is not easy, because it is another step in becoming real, admitting my failings, and owning up to what God wants me to be. Sharing these stories and lessons learned is not about me telling other people what’s wrong with how they live. It’s a story I see around me a thousand times every day. I just don’t want other people to suffer the way I suffered, or run away anymore from the ways I made other people suffer. I don’t ever want to go on hurting people. If I stay silent, then that is just what I might be doing. Rodd was released from federal custody August 19, 2005 where he began slowly to re-build his life.
